Linen Diffusers – How Do They Work?

A reed diffuser spreads fragrance through a process like reverse osmosis. The scented oil in the jar travels through the reeds and is released into the air, slowly and gradually. To get the best form a reed diffuser, they need to be positioned in areas where there is movement of air – this enables the diffuser fragrance to spread well. You may also want to turn the reeds periodically to get more fragrance if you feel that you need more.

A scent diffuser do not need electricity, they do not have a flame or produce heat, so they are a much safer option for many households. However, the oils can stain or damage surfaces, so please do use with care. Our linen reed diffusers have a 250ml capacity and a scent life of up to 5 months. These diffusers look beautiful and will suit any style – with a gentle grey colour and natural reeds; they are understated and elegant. If you would like to try this fragrance on a smaller scale, then we also have a Linen Mini Diffuser – the same beautiful scent, but on a smaller scale. Just 50ml of oil, and a scent life up to 2 months, it makes a good taster for the whole range.
